On our recent October 31st visit to Hebron we encountered first-hand the contrasts and disparities that are against the Jewish people trying to live there. Firstly, the Jewish residents are limited to one small area of the city, while the arabs build and live anywhere they wish (other than the Jewish area). Even buildings that were Jewish owned before the Jews were massacred in 1929 are not accessible to habitation by Jews today.
 During passover of 2007, there was a beautiful orchard originally owned by King David's father Jesse in Hebron. The contrast now in less than 6 months on Oct. 31st is that Arab arsonists tried to destroy this Jewish heritage by fire. By the way, this area is adjacent to the tombs of Ruth and Jesse.

The small neighborhood of Mitzpeh Shalhevet was remodeled extensively into modern apartments due to a housing shortage for Jews. After the cruel expulsion of 12 families from these dwellings this past summer the nations demanded that the homes be demolished.
 Because of the extensive illegal building up of Hebron arab areas by Saudi Arabia, the E.U. and other arab nations, Hebron is surronded by terrorist enemies. Many of these modern large buildings are completely empty and uninhabited, including the big new domed shopping mall that has never been opened. All those empty buildings are footholds that the arabs are trying to establish to overwhelm the Jews of Hebron. They are also used to falsely 'estimate' the number of muslim residents in Hebron. By the way, whatever nominally 'christian' residents have long since left the domination of there muslim cousins.
 In these unacceptable circumstances, Jews live crowded together in 'caravans' (trailers) because they can not get permits to build.
The blatant discrimination even carries over to the Tombs of the (Jewish) Patriarchs and Matriarchs which are now converted fully into mosques.
 Jews have access to less than 1/6 of the Machpelah Building except for a few special days per year. Armed IDF soldiers not only insure that the Jews are not attached while there, but they stand guard to prevent Jewish worshipers from attending the representative tomb areas of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Sarah, Leah, and Rebekah. It is also the place where Adam and Eve are buried.
It is an amazing and sad phenomenon that Hebron, the second holiest city for the Jewish people is so hostile towards the Jewish presence. This is where King David first ruled for seven years of his kingship, and this is where Abraham, Sarah and the other patriarchs lived at times. It is so important that they chose to be buried there in the cave purchased from the "sons of Heth" that is recorded in Genesis 23.
 I could go on and on with other examples, but perhaps the last picture gives a clearer picture of the overall schemes and attitudes of the enemies of the Jewish people. The ultimate goal of the arabs is expel and eliminate the Jews from Israel. Compare the tiny size of Israel in this picture - this is what the arab world thinks. Now you have more facts from us who have been in Hebron many times in the last year.
